I have no excuses for empty presses and fridge freezers, I work in a supermarket for gods sake but recently I have been far more interested in painting and chalking and rearranging and painting and chalking and painting and chalking to worry about groceries. Who needs butter in the fridge when you have a piece of wooden furniture that would benefit from a lick of paint!
I got a longing on me this morning for a sinful treat to have with a cuppa. You are kind of limited when you have no butter in the fridge (tut, tut, tut) but lo and behold I came across this simple little recipe on the world wide web. Where would I be without google? Cookieless for sure!
So are you ready for the simplest cookie recipe known to man?
- 1 cup of nutella
- 1 cup of plain flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup of choc chips/fudge pieces
Mix all ingredients together and place in fridge to chill for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Wet your hands and take walnut sized pieces of dough and roll into a ball.
Place on a baking sheet before pressing down with your palm.
Bake until edges are crisp.
Remove to a wire rack and leave to cool.
To. Die. For.

So come on, why are you still sitting there? Get baking! ;-D
